New prints added to Etsy. Old to me, new to you; they'd have a much better home with someone who will love them.

Been making these pendants from reclaimed scraps of hand-printed paper. They're about the size of my palm. I love them. Do you love them? I think they'd look cute on a super long chain. Thoughts?

new drawing

I have been working hard on this drawing. I'd like to include it in my portfolio to apply for schools. Want to add a bit more but afraid it's going to get too fussy looking.

working, working, working

My messy desk, with a lunch tray to mix paint on and thin out ink. A stray map of Savannah. Some text books I never open.

New drawing on a lonely old paper bag. Just the beginning stage here.

Started these on scrap paper I have hoarded. I love them with all my heart, but they won't look this way for long. Soon they'll get a wash of white to push it all into the background to anchor new drawings.

Ugh, they're so cute. I'll remember you acrylic messes.

Spring, please come quickly

It's late January and I'm already aching for springtime. I am dreaming about camping in the warm weather and splashing around in the ocean, or river or lake; I'm none too picky at this point, I just want to smell the freshness of the water and warm rocks beneath my feet.
In the winter all you can smell is the cold. I've been opening the window at night to let some fresh air in and feel the breeze on my skin. I think the house gets so stagnant in winter and sometimes it's nice to fill up the house with the sharp smell of the cold. I don't mind the shivers too much but I'd rather be basking in the sun.
For the time being, I am immersing myself in images.
